Frequently asked questions
Technical details about the viewer and supported formats
What is an equirectangular 360° image?
An equirectangular image is a spherical projection with a 2:1 aspect ratio (e.g. 4096x2048 or 8192x4096 pixels) mapping a full 360° horizontal and 180° vertical field of view.
Are my images uploaded to any server?
No. The viewer runs 100% locally in your browser using WebGL. Your files are processed entirely in memory on your device.
What formats and devices are compatible?
Supports JPG, PNG, and WebP panoramas exported from 360 cameras, drone aerials, or 3D ArchViz renders (Blender, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Corona, SketchUp).
How do I create a complete virtual tour?
VOERTEX allows you to link multiple 360° rooms, integrate 2D floor plans with live radar tracking, and share interactive tours with custom branding.
